Naomi Campbell, born on May 22, 1970 in Streatham, London, England, is considered one of the great supermodels of the late 20th century. She had gotten her big break in the modeling world when she was only 15. She was the first black British model to make the covers of British Vogue, French Vogue, and Time magazine. People magazine chose Ms. Campbell as one of the 50 most beautiful women in the entire world.

In 2005, Campbell created a charity called Fashion for Relief. She hosted their first charity fashion show to raise money to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. She had a Versace fashion show in order to support Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. In 2012, Naomi Campbell created a show for cable television called The Face, a show that she has produced in the United States. On this series, Campbell invited representatives of fashion magazines, many photographers, and major fashion designers to help coach prospective fashion models. The successful United States series made its debut in the United Kingdom in 2013.

After many years of doing television, modeling, and a few short years working on films, Naomi Campbell acquired the money and the friends to open Fashion Cafe in 1994. Along with models Elle MacPherson, Christie Turlington, and Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell owned a fashion cafe. The restaurant was a combination cafe and museum, similar to Planet Hollywood.
